EliminaSì Irina. San Francesco, patrono d'Italia insieme a Santa Caterina da Siena, è nato ad Assisi nel 1181/1182 ed è morto ad Assisi nel 1226.

Glad your mom's tests are going well, the most important thing is our own health and the health of those we love. I too assumed that Assisi was a city known because of St. Francis but evidently not. I too learn so much from blogging friends and friends, that is one of the beautiful aspects of this virtual world: there is always so much to learn, at least for me. EliminaI talking about knowledge, of course we don't all know everything! I don't know many things either, but speaking of Assisi and St. Francis, I'm surprised that the person working in the library has not heard!!! To me it's strange to say the least!!!
